Facebook Introduces Hashtags For Real Time Conversation, Just Like

Facebook officially introduced hashtags, allowing users to click and see what their friends think about trending topics. Other social networking sites that support hashtags (#) Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr where satan users invented the semantic device on their own.

According to the company’s press release will Clickable hashtag on Facebook. By the user in the ‘Content Text’ add can link it to other things. That is putting a # before the word Clickable link will change to that word. Then it will be included in the feed, which will be posted on that subject and people.

Every day, millions of people around the incident that happened to have their ideas through Facebook, But there was no easy way to do this so that I can know what other people are keeping their thoughts about the event. But now the # tag via the user can know other people’s opinions on a topic

Click on the word or page letting you know what others are saying about him. Also you can search either by # in the search bar of Facebook.

Social Media Users Say Pinterest Is as Popular as Twitter....4.1k Shares

While Facebook reigns supreme in the social media landscape, the latest study by Pew shows users are pinning just as much as they're tweeting.

Twitter attracted 16% of social media users, followed by 15% on Pinterest in 2012. Everyone's favorite pastime is still Facebook, though, raking in a majority of respondents' votes. Tumblr comes in as the least popular with only 6% of people on the site.

The report details who exactly is using these networks, explaining that sites like Instagram appeal more to women, Latinos and African-Americans.

It's no surprise the study finds young adults more interested in social media. An overwhelming 83% are more likely to be on the sites than older demographics. Each network offers distinct services and draws specific audience groups. Image-heavy Pinterest attracts women, adults under 50 and whites. Twitter users tend to be urban residents.
